Angels Of Comfort:

Meets the second and fourth

Tuesday of the month at

9:00 a.m. in the Church Library.

New and experienced knitters

are invited to join.

The angels of Comfort KNITTED and CROCHETED what is called “T” sweaters this year. The name is appropriate because each sweater is in the shape of a “T”. (It’s an easy pattern that even our angels that have just gotten their wings have been able to make.) It’s not just the breeze from angel’s wings you feel! It’s the KNITTING NEEDLES and all those CROCHET HOOKS working away. The colors of the sweaters already completed could easily compete with

the most beautiful rainbow! We have primary colors, pastels, variegated and tweeds, solids, stripes and that’s just the sleeves! These ANGELS have pulled out every creative idea they have to design sweaters that any child would love to wear. We will be working on these until November.

The sweaters were divided up between our mission in Kentucky, the JOY Center; Guideposts project for sweaters for children in orphanages and the Orrville Salvation Army to be used for children here in Orrville.

The Angels of Comfort are done for 2009, but will start again after the first of the year.
