November 29, 2009:

Special Offering - Today we are celebrating United Methodist Student Day. Your special offerings support scholarships and loans to students attending United Methodist and other colleges. An envelope is included for your use. Thank you for your support.

Hat/Scarf Collection - Trinity Nursery School invites you to join them in collecting mittens, hats & scarves for the Orrville Salvation Army. Please place your donations in the box in the lobby by Dec. 13.

New Bible Study - You are invited to be part of a 4-week Bible study to be held on Wed. mornings during Advent in the Library at 9:30 AM. Bring your Bible and the Upper Room. Scripture given the week before in the Daily Devotions will be the basis for this time of sharing and preparing our hearts for this joyous celebration of our Lord's birth.

Order Your Christmas Poinsettia - We are taking orders today for poinsettias for the altar. See the Flower Committee before/after worship, place order and payment in the offering, or mail form with payment to the church office. Plants are $9.00 each.

Advent Wreath Lighting - We have two slots left if you would like to participate in the reading and the lighting of the Advent wreath. A sign-up sheet is in the lobby.

Mission Opportunity - We need five people to help serve and clean-up at Friendship Meals for the Christmas Meal being served at the United Church of Christ, 314 North Main Street, Orrville on Thursday, December 17th from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. Sign-up in the lobby.

Bell Ringers Needed - Trinity will be ringing bells for the Salvation Army at Buehlers on Friday, Dec. 4th and Saturday, Dec. 5th. We still have a few slots left on Saturday, please sign up on the sheets in the lobby.

Christmas Baskets - Trinity has been asked to contribute 200 bags or boxes of stuffing mix (any variety) for the Salvation Army Christmas Baskets that will be filled for those in need this year. Please place your stuffing in the boxes provided in the Sanctuary Lobby and by the north door entrance by Sunday, December 13.

Get Ready, Get Set, Grow!

It is time to grow! Please remember to sign up for a small group as we prepare to grow as a church in the body of Christ. Sign up between November 29 and December 20 for groups starting in January. Sign up sheets will be available in the lobby or in the church office. If you have a group of people you would like to be with, please let Rev. Dave know.
