Announcements
November 8, 2009:

Today is Stewardship Sunday and the sermon, titled "Limited By a Ledger," is focused on scriptures related to stewardship. If you brought your pledge card today, you may place in the basket in the lobby after worship. You may drop off your pledge at the church office or mail in the envelope provided to Norm Hibinger.

United Methodist Women Sunday - Next Sunday, there will be one worship service at 9:30 AM and no Sunday School. Thom & Chris Denman will speak during church about the Joy Center Mission and a reception will follow worship.

Joy Center Christmas - Today is the last day to give a donation toward Christmas gifts for the Joy Center Mission. Our goal is $1,100. We will present a check next Sunday during church.

Random Acts of Raking - Trinity Youth will be going into the community of Orrville and raking their lawns to the curb.  Anyone is welcome to help, starting at 2 P.M. every Sunday in November.  Sign up with Don Hart in the Lobby or call at the church.

Thanksgiving Service - Sunday, November 22 - 7 PM at Orrville Baptist Church, 204 Bell Ave.

Wassail Party - Sunday, November 22 - 3:00 PM - Join us as we decorate the church for the holidays, and share Wassail and cookies.

Advent Wreath Lighting - We invite you (or you and your family to participate in the reading and the lighting of the Advent wreath during the Advent Season. A sign-up sheet is in the lobby for 8:00 or 9:30 worship or Christmas Eve.

Christmas Baskets - Trinity  has been asked to contribute 200 bags or boxes of stuffing mix (any variety) for the Salvation Army Christmas Baskets that will be filled for those in need this year.  Please place your stuffing in the boxes provided in the Sanctuary Lobby and by the north door entrance by Sunday, December 13th.

Bell Ringers Needed - Trinity UMC will be ringing for the Salvation Army at Buehlers on Friday, Dec. 4th and Saturday, Dec. 5th.  If you, or a member of your family, can take a turn ringing the bells for the Salvation Army Christmas Kettles, please sign up on the sheets in the lobby.  You can also call the church office (330-682-1806) for available times.  Let's get all the time slots filled and be a part of this Christmas tradition.

A Salute to American Women - sponsored by Friends of the Orrville Public Library - will feature "Annie Oakley" and will be held on November 19 at TUMC. Tickets are $25 - see the bulletin board for details.

Holiday Craft Bazaar - November 14 from 9-3 at Church of the Cross United Methodist Church, 5100 Cleveland Road , Wooster.

Cantate Singers - November 15 - 7:30 PM at St. Mary Cathoolic Church, Wooster. Alice Parker, composer, is guest conducter. See bulletin board.

Mission Opportunity - We need five people to help serve and clean up at Friendship Meals for the Thanksgiving Meal being served at the United Church of Christ, 314 North Main Street, Orrville on Thursday, November 19th from 5:00 to 7:00 PM.  Sign up at the Welcome Center in the Narthex.
