Synergy Group- choir room: This
is an intergenerational gathering of adults who enjoy discussing the
sermon, current events, moral issues, life experiences with an eye on the
Bible and what it has to say about how we carry out our Christian walk.
Jenni Reusser is the facilitator. Sofa Class- room 105:
These post
college-pre middle aged adults are seeking answers to their faith
questions. They use a variety of study materials to guide their journey.
There are a lot of parents of young children in this group…and the
supervised nursery/toddler room is right across the hall. The leadership
in this group rotates among the class. Life Studies- Library:
A class for adults
who are raising teenagers or have launched their children. They are
seeking some questions about who they are and what are they doing here.
Marcia Daugherty is starting this class with the Worship Series which will
last several weeks. Pat Davault and Marguerite Wagner lead this group. Action Class- room 109:
These adults like to
show their faith in action. They are service minded people who take on
large and small projects to help the church, as well as people in need.
They use a variety of materials to study scripture. Rose Hibinger is the Chapel Class- Chapel:
A gathering of
senior adults who study the Bible using the International Bible Study- a
lectionary based study using scriptures in a four year cycle. Harry Fry
and Marvin Thaxton are the teachers. |
