Just So You Know...

When asked “What does Christmas mean to you?” at the top of the list comes food and family to many people. Did you know that obesity is fast becoming a tragedy in America? Too many are overweight—so better not over-indulge! Better by far is to share our abundance and give to help those less fortunate.

Family first is not the best priority either. There is a sweet fellowship with our Heavenly Father which is offered, freely given, and He desires a relationship with “whosoever” receives His wonderful Gift of Jesus! Why not celebrate and enjoy this Holy Season and learn from it.

Christmas has so much to teach us - Jesus’ girth satisfies the 300+ Old Testament Prophecies; He came to save us from our sins; and to secure our Hope of Heaven. Why not share the Joy of the season and be part of our Advent study on Wednesday mornings in December!

Also, save those stamps and be sure there is 1/4 inch around the canceled stamp. Wycliff Bible translators benefit from this project. They are getting out God’s Good News to the thousands who do not have a copy of the scripture in their language. (We have containers for your stamps several places around the church.)
