Nursery School is now taking registrations for
Fall
2008.
Trinity
Nursery School
and
Child
Care
Center
will begin registration for Fall, 2008 on
Friday, February 1st. Priority
is given to families currently attending our program and the congregation
of
Trinity
United
Methodist
Church
.
Trinity
Nursery School and Child Care Center adheres to the guidelines set by the
National Association for the Education of Young Children and is licensed
by the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services.
Our developmentally appropriate curriculum emerges from the
children’s interests and activities while incorporating the Ohio Early
Learning Content Standards.
Classes
for the child who will be three years old before August 1, 2008 are
offered on Tuesday and Thursday mornings and afternoons from 9:00-11:00am
and 12:30-2:30pm respectively. This
two-hour program is a “first” preschool experience with focus on
sharing, independence, communication and learning through play.
Classes
for the child who will be four years old before August 1, 2008 are offered
on Monday through Friday mornings from 9:00-11:15am; Monday, Wednesday,
and Friday mornings and afternoons from 9:00-11:15am and 12:30-2:45pm
respectively; and Tuesday and Thursdays afternoons from 12:30-2:45pm. This
four-year old curriculum includes literature connections, prewriting
activities and further exposure to creative art using a variety of
mediums.
A
five-day afternoon Pre-K class is available for the child who will be five
years old before August 1, 2008. This
class will meet for two and one-half hours from 12:30-3:00pm.
The curriculum expands on the four-year old program by integrating
problem solving, skills development, literature, art, science, math and
music with play.
Trinity
Child
Care
Center
is available for
families who require full day, half-day or hourly care.
The hours of operation are Monday through Friday from
7:00am-5:30pm. Reduced rates
are available for
Wayne
College
students and employees.
