Activities

There are small group activities that meet during the month at Trinity,
or are sponsored by TUMC.  

Please check out the following groups:

United Methodist Men

Meets the third Thursday of the month at Dravenstott Restaurant at 7am for breakfast and fellowship. Any male member or regular attendee of Trinity United Methodist Church is welcome.  

United Methodist Women

There are four active UMW groups meeting during the month at this time.  Membership is open to any woman in the church.

Music Groups

There are a variety of musical opportunities (vocal and instrumental) for everyone of all ages and abilities.  Some groups meet every week and others rehearse as needed.  Come make a joyful noise to the Lord!

Methodist Youth Fellowship

MYF is open to all youth in 7th-12th grade.  Activities are usually on Sunday afternoon or evenings and range from student led Bible Study and Discussion Groups, Mission workdays, and trips to athletic events and amusement parks.

Puppet Ministry

This is a  group that performs with puppets. They meet as necessary.  For more information contact the church office.

TOPS

 This group meets every Monday at 6 pm in Room 105.   Park in the North lot and enter through the main doors.

Boy Scouts

TUMC charters Troop #60 which meets on
Tuesday evenings 7:00 pm 
(check with the Scout Master 
for the current meeting place.)

During the summer 
Troop #60 meets at Orr Park at 7 pm.

It is open to boys ages 11-18.

Cub Scouts

Cub Scout Pack 4830 meets on Monday evenings at 7 pm in the Fellowship Hall.

Brownies

A new Brownie Troop will be meeting the second and fourth Wednesdays of each month 
in the Fellowship hall at 6:30 pm.

Golf League

This is a nine hole, two person scramble format.  Each week you will golf with and get to know a different person from our church.  

John Morris is the League Manager. 

Fantasy Football League

This group meets once a month in the fall on Sunday evenings in members homes for fun, food, and fellowship.

Softball League

TUMC sponsors a team that plays in the Church League at Orr Park during the summer. 

Alzheimer Support Group

This group meets the fourth Wednesday of the month in the Library.  Park in the North lot and enter through the main doors.  The coordinator is Cheryl Ellis BobCher2@aol.com

Angels of Comfort

This is a group for new and experienced knitters. They meet the 2nd & 4th Tuesday of the month in the church Library from 9-11am and a second group meets at 6:30-8pm.
