Announcements
February 14, 2010:

Sunday School Today - Since there is going to be a Chancel Choir Practice after worship in the choir room, SYNERGY CLASS has been canceled for today. The S.O.F.A. Class will not be meeting today but will be together again next Sunday in the library.

Shrove Tuesday Pancake Dinner - Tuesday, February 16 - 5:30-7:30 PM -  Featuring pancakes, sausage, applesauce
$5/Adults and children 10 and up; $3.50/Children under 10. All proceeds go to Youth Mission Trips.

Ash Wednesday - Join us for Ash Wednesday worship on Wednesday, 2/17, at 7:00 PM. Worship includes communion and imposition of ashes as desired.

No kids choir tonight, Sunday, 2/14.

Volunteers Needed - Help re-launch Trinity's video ministry by signing up to run the video camera once every 4-6 weeks. Contact Carrie Guenther in the church office for information. If you have used a video camera, you can do this. If not, we can train you!

Tuesday Night Bible Study - A new Bible Study will begin on February 23 and will meet twice a month. Led by Mike Davault, this group will focus on Ecclesiastes and on outreach ministry. If you are interested in participating, please call the church office or see Jane Disbury.

Health Kits for Haiti Relief - We were able to ship 12 boxes of health kits to UMCOR for Haiti Relief. There were 248 individual health kits. A special "thank you" to the Maple Street School students who made 155 health kits which were sent with those from Trinity. We thank everyone who contributed health kits. It was a wonderful response to this terrible disaster.  ---The Missions Committee

Spread the News - Lenten Service invitations are now available at the visitor reception desk.  Please consider inviting your friends, family and neighbors to worship with us this Lenten Season!

Church Family Hockey Night - Saturday, February 27 -  Lake Erie Monsters vs. Grand Rapids Griffins - Quicken Loans Arena. The puck drops at 7:30 PM. Leaving the Church at 5:45 PM. Meet at the ticket office at 7 PM. Cost: $17 per person (Group Rate) Everyone is invited! Invite your family, friends, classmates, or co-workers! Sign-up through the church office or contact Don Hart before February 21!

Mission Opportunity - Work Camp - We are organizing a group to participate in the Step by Step program (Western NC Conference-UMC) the first week in May.  Contact Mike Woodward for more information.  This is the same place that we went last year.

Church Membership Directory - A new membership listing will be available in the next few weeks listing church members with addresses, phone numbers and emails. Please call or email the church office (office@orrvilletrinity.com) if you would like to have any information omitted from the directory.

2010 Budget - Copies of the 2010 Trinity United Methodist Church Budget are available in the church office.
