Mission Trips:

Each year there are several opportunities to participate in first hand mission work. 

NC Workcamp

Mike Woodward will be leading another trip to NC in the fall of 2008.  Please contact Mike for further details.

Youth Workcamp

The Youth Fellowship participates in a one week mission trip during the summer at a mission settlement picked by the Youth Council.  There are various fund raisers during the year to help fund this trip. The next MYF trip will be to New Orleans on July 11-19.

Save your old Stamps

You can recycle your used postage stamps and do mission work at the same time.  Please clip or tear around the stamp - leave at least 1/8th inch of paper around the stamp. Place your stamps in the big envelopes in the Narthex and North Entrance, as well as the one on the Mission Bulletin Board.  An orphanage in Nebraska will benefit by our saving stamps. Thanks for your help

Save Campbell Soup UPC Codes

We are also collecting Campbell Company UPC codes (includes Pepperidge Farm, Pace, V8, Prego, Swanson, & Market Day)  for the RedBird Settlement in Kentucky.  There is a large round container marked soup codes in the Narthex.  Please place your UPC codes there, when the container is full the Mission Committee will send them to the correct place.  Thanks for your help.

Save General Mills "Box Tops for Education"

    We are collecting box tops from General Mills Products.  Clip out the "Box Tops for Education" portion of the box and drop them into the container marked labels found in the Narthex of the church.  The Henderson Settlement in Kentucky will receive ten cents for each box top to use for educational purposes. Thanks for your help.

Save "OUR FAMILY" Brand Labels

Buehler’s is offering our schools 5 cents for each “OUR FAMILY” Label (must include UPC code). Please save these labels and place in the appropriate box in the Sanctuary Lobby. We will then turn them over to
the North School Student Council which is taking on this project.

Save Metal Pop-Tops

We are collecting metal pop-tops for the Orrville High School Earth Science Club.
Please put your pop-tops in a sandwich bag and drop them in the box marked "pop-tops" in the Narthex.

Save Used Printer Ink Cartridges

Our Scout Troop is collecting used printer ink cartridges. 
Please drop those off in the box in the Narthex marked "ink cartridge".
