United Methodist Women

Purpose

The organized unit of the United Methodist Women shall be a community

of women whose purpose is:

  • To know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ

  • To develop a creative, supportive fellowship

  • To expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church

Membership

"Membership shall be open to any woman who indicates her desire to belong and to   

participate in the global mission of the church through the United Methodist Women."

Some UMW Missions:

Meals for Habitat for Humanity workers

Visits with the home-bound especially on birthdays and holidays

Snacks for Bloodmobile

Women Reaching Out

Provide Funeral Meals

Make health kits, layettes & school kits for UMCOR

    The United Methodist Women meet for general meetings four times a year and have four smaller groups (circles) that meet at various times during each month.  For more information about the United Methodist Women please click on one of the following options:

Priscilla Circle

Meets the 3rd Tuesday

of the month in the Church Library at  

9:30 am.

Lydia Circle

Meets the 2nd Thursday of the month in member's homes at 1:00 pm.

 

Dorcas Circle

Meets the 3rd Wednesday of the month in member's homes at 

7:30 pm.

Ruth Circle

Meets the last Sunday of the month at the Church in the Library at

7:00 pm
