MYF MISSION STATEMENT

The mission of Trinity MYF is to provide a safe harbor 
where God’s people will see the face of Christ 
through fellowship and worship, 
become His hands through service to His community 
and gratify His heart by igniting faith in His children.

What's Happening:

Here is the scoop for the youth during the month of June! With school finishing up I am excited to start the summer! I hope you guys are as well!

            June 1st- Good Life Cafe Night 6:30-8:30pm- Musical guest Andrew Berg

            June 8th- Youth Group 6:00-7:30pm

            June 10th- Mission Trip Bible Study- if going on the mission trip must attend this. We will be going over the VBS material for the trip

            June 13-15th- Youth Annual Conference

            June 14th- Nu2u   first meeting for 4th, 5th, and 6th graders- at Dairy Queen- bring a few dollars for ice cream, and I will provide the rest!

            June 15th- no youth group- fathers day!

            June 22nd- no youth group

            June 29th- youth group 6:00-7:30pm- what water balloons? I don’t know anything about it!  Youth council meeting 7:30pm

Congratulations to our 2008 graduates!

High School Graduates:

EMILY KATHRYN BREDIGER, daughter of Jeff & Sheri Brediger, graduated from Orrville HS on May 25th.  She has already completed eight college courses through Wayne & Findley Colleges where she was on the Dean’s List.  She plans to major in Biology/ Equine/Pre-Vet at Otterbein College where she was awarded the Otterbein Scholar Award, the Otterbein Dean’s Award and the Premier Departmental Scholar Award for Science.  Emily also plans to be a member of the college equestrian team.

LYNDSEY KATHRYN DAVAULT, daughter of Doug & Sandra Davault, graduated from Orrville HS on May 25th.  She plans to attend Ashland University where she has received a scholarship.  She plans to major in Early Childhood Education while participating on the track

ADAM WALTMAN MAAG, the son of Mike & Molly Maag, graduated from Orrville HS on May 25th.  Adam will be attending Otterbein College where he will major in nursing.  He also plans on running cross country and track while in college.

NICHOLAS TIBBITTS, son of Ken & Ruth Tibbitts, graduated from Orrville HS on May 25th.  He plans on attending the University of Akron where he plans to study mechanical engineering.

JARED MARTIN TURK, the son of Reggie & Tammy Turk,graduated from Orrville HS on May 25th. He plans on attending the University of Akron to major in Mass Media - Radio/TV. Jared has been awarded the Partners in Excellence Scholarship.

COLLEGE GRADUATES:

KORI BARNES, daughter of Mike & Chris Barnes, graduated from High Point University in North Carolina on May 3rd with a Bachelors Degree in Human Relations. She is a member of Kappa Delta Honorary Society.  Kori plans to move to Arizona with a lifelong friend and look for a job. 

LAUREN BREDIGER, daughter of Jeff & Sheri Brediger, will graduate from Ohio University ’s College of Business with double majors in Management Information Systems and Marketing.  She will officially finish her studies in the fall.  She is completing a course in Global Studies in Greece this summer.  After graduating she plans on completing a one-year internship with Campus Crusade in Indianapolis , IN.

KYLE EVANS, son of Bill & Lori Evans, graduated from Kent State University in Aug. of 2007 with a BA in Justice Studies. He is currently working for the Pretrial Service Agency with the Federal Court in Washington , DC .

REBECCA GROCOTT, our youth director, graduated from Malone College on May 3rd with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Youth Ministry.  Becca plans on going to grad school or seminary for a Master in Christian Counseling.  She would eventually like to open an outreach ministry coffee shop/youth center.  She lives in Massillon with her husband, Andy.

KEEGAN HANGE, daughter of Robert & Ann Hange, graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology from Grove City College on May 17th.  She plans to study at the Ohio State University for a Master’s in Entomology this fall.

EVAN HENDERSON, son of Steve & Karen Henderson, will graduate cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Architecture and a Global Studies Certificate from the University of Cincinnati on June 14th. Evan plans to continue his studies toward a Master of Architecture degree at the University of Cincinnati .

CHRISTOPHER HILLEBRECHT, son of Gene & Sue Hillebrecht, graduated from the University of Akron , Wayne College with an Associate Degree in Business in Dec. 2007.  Chris plans to move to the Columbus area in the near future, and  hopes to return to school next fall to work toward a BS in Business degree.

TIMOTHY HILLER, son of Tom & Amy Hiller, will graduate suma cum laude (4.0) from Western Michigan University this summer with his BS in Business.  He plans to start his MBA this fall at WMU.  He recently received the Presidential Scholar Award from WMU.

LAURA McPEEK, daughter of Dave & Ann McPeek, graduated from Ohio Northern University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Early Childhood Education with a minor in French on May 18th.
